All Day Ride the Rockies
1pm Training Camp - Wildwater Training Clinic with Andy Corra, Salida Whitewater Park. A Wildwater training clinic will be provided by USA Wildwater and former USA Wildwater National Champion and FIBArk Downriver winner Andy Corra. If you are interested meet 1 pm Tuesday June 16 at the Salida Whitewater Park boat ramp and 1 pm Wednesday June 17, 1 pm at Bighorn RV Park in Coaldale just west of Cottonwood Rapid. The classic course will be reviewed Tuesday and the sprint course on Wednesday

Paddle with the USA Freestyle Kayak Team ALL AGES Meet, greet and support members of the 2009 US Freestyle Kayak Team at the Salida Whitewater Park Lower Hole. Register on site.

Get to know those who are tops in freestyle today! These awesome paddlers will represent the US at the 2009 World Freestyle Kayaking Championship in Thun, Switzerland, August 30-September 5.

Meet team members and learn technique tips from them at the Lower Hole. if you'd like, you'll be able to paddle downstream to Salida East, a couple of miles downstream, as time allows.

If you are not a member of USACK, we will ask for $10 to cover USAFK / USACK insurance (another waiver will be there for you to sign). A donation to USAFK/USACK will be gratefully accepted to help offset 1) US Team travel expenses to Switzerland and 2) out-of-pockets expenses for copies, fliers, waivers, postage, website hosting, etc.
